Vacancy Details

Alliance Air Aviation Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India Air Transport Services Limited (AIAHL), is recruiting 1 Chief Financial Officer position. The CFO will be responsible for all financial management activities of the company on Pan India basis, including accounts, statutory compliance, and financial planning.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), OR
  • Qualified Cost Accountant (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI)
  • Must be an active member of ICAI or ICMAI

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years post-qualification work experience in:
  • Accounts Maintenance, Budget/Budgetary Control, Final Accounts
  • Expenditure Accounting, Revenue Accounting, Statutory Compliance (Companies Act, GST, PT, TDS, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, DGFT)
  • Auditing, Taxation, Working Capital Management, Payroll
  • Financial Planning, Forecasting, Internal Finance Control
  • ERP systems (SAP) for automation and financial processing
  • Out of 15 years: Minimum 3 years at senior managerial level (GM and above)

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 55 years as on 06.02.2026
  • Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates as per Government norms

Preference

  • Preference given to candidates with Aviation Industry/PSU experience
  • At least 3 years experience at E6 level or above

Selection Process

  • Screening and shortlisting of applications based on qualifications and experience
  • Personal interview of shortlisted candidates at Alliance Air premises in New Delhi
  • Due weightage given to academic qualifications and post-qualification work experience

Salary & Benefits

Passage Benefits:Free/concessional air passages for employee and declared family members on Alliance Air network (applicable taxes/charges to be paid by employee).

Duration:Fixed Term Employment Agreement for 3 years. May be extended for additional 2 years based on performance with revised or same remuneration. Contract can be terminated at management’s discretion during validity period in case of unsatisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall charge of financial activities of the company on Pan India basis
  • Expenditure accounting, revenue accounting, and financial management
  • Statutory compliance (GST, PT, TDS, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, DGFT)
  • Facilitating Statutory Audit, CAG Audit, Cost Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Audit
  • Implementing Internal Financial Controls on Pan India basis
  • Execution and implementation of Risk Management policy
  • Working Capital Management, Financial Planning, and Forecasting
  • Preparing reports for CEO/Board as required
  • Ensuring Audit Committee compliance
  • Compliance with DPE Guidelines (applicable to PSU/CPSE)
  • Coordinating with external authorities (DPE, Ministry of Civil Aviation, GST, Income Tax)
  • Addressing observations from Internal Auditors, Statutory Auditors, CAG
  • Working on IATA platform, GeM, TReDS
  • Timely reconciliations, MIS preparation
  • Physical verification of fixed assets
  • Preparation of Quarterly/Half Yearly/Annual Accounts
