Essential Educational Qualification
- ITI Certificate in Cutting & Tailoring / Sewing Technology from a Government-recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI)
- Minimum 2 years of working experience as Tailor in any Government / Semi-Government Institution / PSU / Autonomous Body
Desirable Qualification
- Knowledge of Hindi, Punjabi, and English
Age Limit (as on closing date 02.03.2026)
- General Category: 18-25 years
- OBC Category: 18-28 years (3 years age relaxation)
- Departmental Candidates: Upper age limit relaxable upto 40 years as per Central Government instructions
Physical Fitness & Health
- Must have sound health both mentally and physically
- Free from organic defect or bodily infirmity that could interfere with duty performance
- Weight must be proportionate to height as per medical standards

Step 1: Written Test (50 marks)
- 100 Multiple Choice type questions (MCQ)
- Each correct answer: 0.5 marks
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for incorrect answer

- Total marks: 50
Final Merit List
- Based on combined marks: Written Test (50) + TPT (50) = Total 100
- In case of tie: Older candidate gets higher rank
- If same age and marks: Ranked by marks percentage
